How it works
Write down everything you want to get done today.
Pick 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes, or type your own estimate.
See the total with a buffer, whether it fits in your available time and when you’ll finish.
Good to know
Most of us plan as if nothing will go wrong. In reality, tasks run over, meetings overrun and messages interrupt. Adding a buffer — 25% is a good starting point — makes your plan realistic instead of optimistic.
The best way to get better at estimating is to compare your estimates with the time things actually take. After a few weeks you’ll know your own patterns, and your plans will start to hold.
FAQ
